dc.descriptionThis titling project was carried out with the objective of showing a new alternative for mitigating the environmental impact that plastic and tires that are not in use cause to the environment and reduce the quality of life of the citizens of Canton la Troncal; What is proposed is the use of plastic and rubber fibers of tires used in the manufacture of masonry blocks that meet the resistance necessary for their use, innovating the construction industry (Palaguachi, 2019). The research is theoretical, experimental, contains a literature review, which has allowed the development of the technology used. The field work corresponds to the construction of the blocks and laboratory since it is there where their resistance was measured. Field and laboratory records were used that facilitated the collection and processing of information. dc.description.abstractEl presente proyecto de titulación, se realizó con el objetivo de mostrar una nueva alternativa de mitigación al impacto ambiental que el plástico y los neumáticos fuera de uso provocan al medio ambiente y merman la calidad de vida de los ciudadanos del cantón la Troncal; lo que se propone es la utilización de plástico y fibras de caucho de neumáticos usados en la fabricación de bloques de mampostería que cumplan con la resistencia necesaria para su utilización, innovando la industria de la construcción (Palaguachi, 2019). La investigación es de carácter teórico, experimental, contiene revisión bibliográfica, la cual ha permitido desarrollar la tecnología utilizada. El trabajo de campo, corresponde a la construcción de los bloques y de laboratorio ya que es allí donde se midió su resistencia. Se utilizaron fichas de campo y de laboratorio que facilitaron la recopilación y procesamiento de la información.
