dc.descriptionThis thesis evaluates the behavior and structural vulnerability of the building of the College of Civil Engineers of Guayas, located in the Tarqui Parish north of the City of Guayaquil, based on a comparative study under the regulations of the Ecuadorian construction code CEC 1977, in force at the year of construction of the building and the NEC 2015 in force to date. To do this, it begins with the collection of information about the structure (building plans: architectural and structural, year of construction), the seismic zoning of the soil is also taken as a reference, based on the NEC 2015, which grants a soil type D, in order to begin with the creation of the spectra, through the structural analysis using the ETABS program V.21.1.0, considering the structural plans of the building dating from 1986 and contrasting with the structural survey and experimental tests of 6 cores taken from beams and columns to verify the strength of concrete, carried out in February 2022..............es_ES
dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo de titulación evalúa el comportamiento y la vulnerabilidad estructural del edificio del Colegio de Ingenieros Civiles del Guayas, ubicado en la Parroquia Tarqui al norte de la Ciudad de Guayaquil, basándose en un estudio comparativo bajo las normativas del código ecuatoriano de la construcción CEC 1977, vigente al año de construcción de la edificación y la NEC 2015 vigente a la fecha. Para ello se empieza con la recopilación de información de la estructura (planos del edificio: arquitectónicos y estructurales, año de construcción), también se toma como referencia la zonificación sísmica del suelo, en base a la NEC 2015, que otorga un tipo de suelo D, para así comenzar con la creación de los espectros, mediante el análisis estructural empleando el programa ETABS V 21.1.0, considerando los planos estructurales de la edificación que datan del año 1986 y contrastando con el relevamiento estructural y los ensayos experimentales de 6 núcleos tomados de vigas y columnas para verificar la resistencia del hormigón, realizados en el mes de febrero del año 2022...............es_ES
