| Resumen : | El presente estudio destaca la relevancia de la motricidad fina en la educación inicial y examina la interrelación entre la motricidad fina y el desarrollo del aprestamiento lectoescritor en niños de 4 años, centrándose en el contexto del Centro de Educación Infantil "Mi Osito" en Daule, Guayas. Utilizando un enfoque mixto que combina métodos cualitativos y cuantitativos, se analizó el nivel de conciencia de los padres sobre la importancia de la motricidad fina, así como el interés y participación de los niños en actividades que requieren destrezas motoras finas. Los hallazgos revelaron una diversidad en la comprensión de los padres respecto a la relevancia de la motricidad fina en el desarrollo infantil. Algunos mostraron un conocimiento limitado, mientras otros demostraron una comprensión más profunda y activa sobre el tema. En cuanto a los niños, se observó un interés diversificado en actividades que implican el uso de la motricidad fina, como dibujar, recortar, o manipular objetos pequeños. Sin embargo, también se identificaron diferencias individuales en cuanto al grado de participación y habilidad en estas actividades. Como resultado de la investigación, se proponen diversas recomendaciones para mejorar la calidad educativa y el desarrollo de habilidades motoras finas en niños de 4 años. Se sugiere el uso de estrategias lúdicas y materiales didácticos adaptados para estimular la motricidad fina de manera divertida y efectiva. Además, se enfatiza la importancia de fortalecer la comunicación entre padres y docentes, promoviendo un entendimiento compartido y colaborativo sobre la importancia de estas habilidades en el desarrollo infantil. |
| Descripción : | The present study highlights the relevance of fine motor skills in early childhood education and examines the interrelation between fine motor skills and the development of pre-literacy and pre-writing skills in 4-year-old children, focusing on the context of the "Mi Osito" Early Childhood Education Center in Daule, Guayas. Employing a mixed-methods approach combining qualitative and quantitative methods, the level of awareness among parents regarding the importance of fine motor skills was analyzed, along with the interest and participation of children in activities requiring fine motor abilities. Findings revealed a diversity in parents' understanding of the relevance of fine motor skills in child development. While some displayed limited knowledge, others exhibited a deeper and more active understanding of the subject. Regarding the children, a diversified interest in activities involving fine motor skills, such as drawing, cutting, or manipulating small objects, was observed. However, individual differences in participation and skill level in these activities were also identified. As a result of the research, various recommendations are proposed to enhance the educational quality and development of fine motor skills in 4-year-old children. The use of playful strategies and adapted didactic materials to stimulate fine motor skills in a fun and effective manner is suggested. Furthermore, the importance of strengthening communication between parents and teachers is emphasized, promoting a shared and collaborative understanding of the significance of these skills in child development. |
