Descripción : The lack of emphasis in Academic Writing in their previous school years for senior students at “Unidad Educativa Bilingüe Espiritu Santo” causes students to feel insecure and unprepared to write properly. As a result, the majority is not able to use all the tools needed in order to create an academic essay, regardless of its type by the end of the school year. In order to find a suitable solution for this problem, this research project used a mix of the quantitative and qualitative method to collect and interpret the information that was gathered. It was also set to determine the causes and factors that enhance the problem and recommend a series of action to improve the academic writing skill among these students. In order to determine the problem, the use of different means included surveys, classroom observation, etc…..
